Footnotes are a key element of financial forecasts. Seasoned readers know that anyone can create a “hockey stick” (a highly optimistic outcome such as a fast growing sales performance chart) so it’s said that the justifications that support financial assumptions are the real key to a strong financial forecast. A Footnotes section is therefore provided in each Modeling tab area to record assumption definitions and justifications. Access the Footnotes panel within each Modeler tab by clicking the “Footnotes” link. Footnotes from all tabs are aggregated to render in Reports.
